The 200mm Draper XP1000 VDE Tethered High Leverage Side Cutters provide maximum leverage for demanding cutting applications, making them ideal for heavier-gauge wires and challenging electrical work. This larger size offers superior cutting force with a maximum capacity of 2.2mm, manufactured from premium German-forged steel with induction-hardened jaws for long-lasting performance. The off-centred precision-machined pivot pins facilitate smooth one-handed operation with minimal play, whilst significantly enhancing the ease of cutting harder wires. Tested to 10,000V and certified for live circuits up to 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC, these cutters feature a two-part bi-material ergonomic soft grip handle with integrated safety horns to prevent slipping onto live conductors. The incorporated tethered fixing solution ensures compliance with Work at Height Regulations when used with compatible lanyards or wrist straps (sold separately).
