The Sealey SM1200 is an oscillating spindle sander designed for precision curved sanding work on both deep and wide workpieces. This versatile bobbin sander features a 450W motor delivering 2057rpm spindle speed with 60 oscillations per minute, providing smooth, consistent results across a range of curved and contoured sanding applications. Ideal for woodworkers, cabinet makers and joiners working on curved components, intricate furniture pieces and decorative mouldings, this machine handles detailed sanding tasks with precision. The generous 370 x 290mm work table provides ample support for workpieces, whilst the 115mm spindle height accommodates deeper sanding operations. The SM1200 comes complete with a comprehensive accessory kit including six sanding sleeves, five bobbin drums and six table inserts, with bobbin sizes ranging from 13mm to 76mm to suit different curve radii. All sanding components have dedicated storage slots within the housing, keeping accessories organised and readily accessible. Dust extraction is facilitated via a 38mm external diameter port at the rear of the spindle, compatible with standard vacuum hoses for maintaining a cleaner working environment.
