The Draper OSBS450D is a versatile oscillating spindle and belt sander that combines two essential workshop tools in one compact unit. Featuring a double configuration design, this sander allows quick switching between spindle and belt sanding modes, making it ideal for cabinetmakers, joiners and furniture makers working with both intricate curved components and flat surfaces. The machine's dual rotating and vertically oscillating action delivers efficient sanding performance whilst minimising the risk of burn marks on workpieces. A robust 450W induction motor provides consistent power for demanding sanding tasks, whilst the 16mm oscillating stroke ensures even material removal across the full length of the spindle sleeve. The substantial aluminium work table measures 430 x 410mm and features a tilting section that adjusts from 0 to 45 degrees, enabling precise chamfering and angled edge work. Vented throat plates and an under-table dust extraction channel with 38mm port help maintain a cleaner working environment when connected to a suitable extractor. The sander can be bench mounted or used freestanding, and includes on-board storage for all accessories. A non-latching no-volt safety switch with dust cover provides enhanced operator protection.
