The Sealey SM353CE is a horizontal hydraulic arm bandsaw engineered for precision cutting in industrial and agricultural engineering workshops. This professional-grade metal cutting bandsaw features a heavy-duty 1500W single-phase motor and precision machined cast iron saw bed, delivering reliable performance for demanding fabrication and maintenance applications. Manufactured to comply with Supply of Machinery (Safety) Directives 1992 and fully CE approved, this bandsaw prioritises operator safety through multiple protective features. The hydraulic damping system prevents the saw arm from dropping onto the workpiece, ensuring smooth, controlled cutting action whilst reducing operator fatigue during extended use. A 24V/230V combined circuit system operates the coolant pump and main power controls, providing enhanced electrical safety in workshop environments. The bandsaw offers substantial cutting capacity, handling round stock up to 228mm diameter and rectangular material up to 228 x 355mm at 90 degrees. Four variable blade speeds (21, 33, 42 and 59m/min) allow operators to optimise cutting parameters for different materials and applications. An integrated over-current sensor automatically cuts motor power in the event of blade jam, protecting both the machine and operator from potential damage or injury.
