The Sealey SM1304 is a professional 245mm bandsaw designed for cutting multiple materials in workshop environments. Built around a robust steel chassis with locking blade wheel covers, this two-speed bandsaw delivers versatile performance for tradespeople requiring precision cuts across different applications. The bearing-mounted blade wheels and belt drive induction motor ensure smooth, consistent operation, whilst the 370W motor provides adequate power for demanding workshop tasks. The two-speed configuration allows operators to switch between 400m/min and 730m/min cutting speeds, making the bandsaw suitable for both wood and non-ferrous materials. Safety features include micro switches that prevent operation when blade wheel covers are open, and no-volt release switches that prevent uncontrolled blade restart following power interruption.
