The 200mm Draper XP1000 VDE Insulated Tethered Combination Pliers are the largest in this professional range, providing extended reach and maximum cutting capacity for demanding electrical applications. This size is ideal for working with heavier gauge cables and accessing deeper enclosures. Manufactured from premium steel forged in Germany, these pliers feature induction-hardened jaws that provide better gripping performance and an effortless clean cutting edge for long-term performance. The precision-machined pivot pins enable smooth one-handed operation with minimum play, whilst the two-part bi-material ergonomic soft grip handle delivers maximum grip and user comfort with horns to prevent slipping onto live conductors. Tested to 10,000V and suitable for working on live circuits of 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC, these pliers incorporate a tethered fixing solution to comply with Work at Height Regulations (lanyard Stock No. 82474 and wrist strap Stock No. 03740 sold separately). Maximum cutting capacity: 2.5mm.
