The Draper RS12VD is a 12V cordless reciprocating saw designed for cutting wood, metal and plastic in a wide range of trade and workshop applications. Part of Draper's 12V interchangeable battery system, this compact reciprocating saw delivers variable speed control up to 3,000 strokes per minute with an electronic brake for enhanced safety and precision. This lightweight reciprocating saw weighs just 1.1kg, making it ideal for overhead work and extended use where manoeuvrability is essential. The quick-release blade function allows for fast blade changes without tools, whilst the integrated LED worklight illuminates the cutting area in low-light conditions. A battery charge indicator keeps you informed of remaining power, helping to prevent interruptions during critical tasks. Supplied with both wood and metal cutting blades, the RS12VD handles cutting capacities up to 65mm in wood, 8mm in steel and 50mm in plastic pipe with a 14.5mm stroke length. The 12V Li-ion battery and charger are sold separately, giving you the flexibility to expand your cordless tool collection whilst sharing batteries across the entire Draper 12V range. This reciprocating saw is also fully compatible with the Draper Storm Force® 10.8V series, maximising versatility for contractors working with existing Draper battery platforms.
