Draper BL1500D Belt Linisher 240v
The Draper BL1500D Belt Linisher is a workshop-grade belt sander designed for metal contact grinding, chamfering and deburring. Featuring a robust construction and a powerful 1500W induction motor, this versatile linisher is equally suitable for working with wood and plastics, making it an ideal addition to fabrication and engineering workshops. The machine offers two distinct grinding methods to accommodate different applications. Flat grinding is accomplished using the graphite support base, which provides an ideal sanding surface, whilst end grinding is handled via the contact wheel fitted with a work rest. Belt tracking is carefully controlled using a single-knob adjustment system, and the spring-loaded quick release mechanism enables fast belt changes to minimise downtime. Supplied with a 100 x 1220mm sanding belt, the linisher operates at 2800rpm with a belt speed of 19m/s for efficient material removal. Workshop safety and cleanliness are addressed through a 3" dust extraction outlet, transparent safety guard and removable spark trap. The unit can be bench mounted for immediate use or fitted to a column (available separately, Stock No. 98422) for improved flexibility in workshop layouts.
