This 20" (500mm) Draper Venom Second Fix handsaw with 12tpi tooth configuration offers an excellent balance of control and cutting capacity for standard second fix carpentry tasks. The 500mm blade length provides ample reach for cutting skirting boards, architraves, and door frames whilst remaining highly manoeuvrable in confined spaces. Manufactured from high-quality 1mm thick 65Mn carbon steel, the blade has been correctly hardened, tempered, straightened and stress relieved to ensure exceptional strength and straightness. The triple ground tooth design with 12tpi delivers faster cutting with optimal sawdust removal in both forward and reverse motions, making it particularly effective for clean, accurate cuts in softwoods and hardwoods. The finely ground blade surface features an ultra-tough lacquer coating that protects against corrosion whilst easing friction when sawing.
