The 22" (550mm) Draper Second Fix Venom Double Ground Handsaw with 12tpi tooth configuration offers extended reach and increased cutting capacity for larger second fix tasks. This longer blade length is particularly suited to cutting longer lengths of timber, large architraves, and wide skirting boards where the extra reach reduces the number of strokes required, improving productivity on site. Constructed from premium 1mm thick 65Mn carbon steel, the blade undergoes a comprehensive hardening, tempering, straightening and stress relief process to maintain strength and straightness. The precision-ground teeth cut effectively in both directions, whilst the ultra-tough lacquer finish protects the blade from corrosion and minimises friction.
