This 10" (250mm) Bahco ERGO™ Handled Flat File with Bastard (Coarse) cut is the largest variant in the range, designed for heavy-duty filing applications where maximum material removal is required. The 250mm length provides excellent reach and leverage for working on larger workpieces, whilst the coarse bastard cut delivers aggressive material removal on high-alloy tool steels and heavy implements. The extended length makes this file particularly effective for filing longer flat surfaces, sharp corners and shoulders where consistency across the work area is essential. Its parallel edges and surfaces ensure accurate results, with surfaces that are double cut for efficient stock removal.
