The Bahco 2430S ERGO™ Insulated Long Nose Pliers in 160mm length provide the perfect balance between reach and control for general electrical work. This mid-size variant is particularly well-suited for everyday installation, maintenance, and repair tasks where versatility is paramount. The 160mm length offers excellent access to recessed terminals and connections whilst maintaining precise handling characteristics. Manufactured from high-performance alloy steel with a phosphate finish and anti-corrosion treatment, these pliers feature half-round serrated jaws for gripping flat and round materials. The hardened cutting edges are capable of cutting copper up to 3mm, iron up to 1.8mm, and iron alloy up to 1.6mm. Two-component ERGO™ insulated handles with a thermoplastic surface on a tough polypropylene base ensure superior grip and reduced hand fatigue. Suitable for working on live equipment up to 1,000V in compliance with IEC 60900, every tool undergoes testing at 10,000V for 10 seconds.
