The Stanley Intelli Tools Digital Infrared Thermometer is a professional thermal detector designed for accurate non-contact temperature measurement across a wide range of applications. With an exceptional temperature range of -38°C to +520°C and accuracy to within 3°, this infrared thermometer is ideal for HVAC diagnostics, electrical inspections, and building surveys where thermal leak detection is essential. The device features an innovative colour-coded thermal leak detection system that provides instant visual feedback from a reference temperature. The backlit display shows green for the reference temperature, switching to red when detecting high temperatures and blue for low temperatures, making it easy to identify thermal anomalies quickly. The high-contrast backlit screen ensures clear visibility in all lighting conditions, from dark loft spaces to brightly lit commercial environments. Built for practical use on site, this infrared thermometer offers an 8:1 spot ratio, allowing users to measure a 32cm circle from 2.5 metres distance. The IP20-rated casing provides protection against dust ingress, extending the tool's working life in challenging trade environments. With an emissivity of 0.95 and wavelength between 630-660nm, it covers thermal radiation emission of most common materials. The thermometer is supplied with 2 x AA batteries for immediate use.
