The Stanley FatMax 18mm (11/16in) Bevel Edge Chisel provides a wider cutting edge for efficient material removal in carpentry and joinery tasks. With an overall length of 135mm, this chisel offers enhanced reach and leverage, making it ideal for larger mortising work, door hanging, and general purpose applications requiring a broader blade. The thru tang construction with friction welded bolster delivers exceptional strength that's 50% greater than previous models, whilst the ergonomic soft grip handle ensures maximum control and comfort. The 18mm width strikes an excellent balance between efficient cutting and manoeuvrability for medium to large-scale work. Manufactured from ball bearing grade steel EN31, the blade is fully ground and finished to deliver ultimate sharpness and superior edge retention.
