The Sealey VS870 is a professional automotive smoke diagnostic tool designed for rapid leak detection across multiple vehicle systems. This workshop-essential device enables technicians to quickly identify leaks in air intake, cooling, evaporation, fuel, exhaust and vacuum systems, helping to diagnose faults efficiently and maximise workshop productivity. The smoke machine uses mineral oil and workshop air to generate diagnostic smoke at low pressure, which is introduced into the system under test via the included rubber blanking cones. The unit connects directly to a 12V vehicle battery for power and features straightforward single-button operation, making it accessible even for less experienced technicians. With a 2.6-metre hose and adjustable flow control valve, the VS870 provides excellent reach and precise smoke output control during testing. The auto-power-off feature prevents battery drain, whilst the compact design and 75ml oil reservoir capacity make this a practical addition to any automotive workshop. Four rubber cones in graduated sizes (Ø10-45mm, 30-65mm, 50-85mm, and 70-100mm) are supplied to suit different connection points across various vehicle types.
