The Sealey TL93 is a digital timing light designed for precise ignition timing diagnostics on petrol engines. This versatile diagnostic tool features a composite cased xenon strobe light with inductive impulse pick-up, making it ideal for professional mechanics and automotive technicians working on a wide range of vehicles. The large LED digital display provides clear readings across multiple parameters including dwell angle, advance timing, voltage, RPM and retard ignition timing. With its 4-digit LED read-out and 99.9% dwell accuracy, this timing light delivers the precision required for accurate engine tuning and diagnostics. The unit reads tachometer speeds from 200-9990rpm and measures advance timing from 0-60º BTDC, covering the requirements of most petrol engines. Designed for versatility, the TL93 includes dedicated modes for both 2-stroke engines and distributorless 'lost spark' 4-stroke systems, making it suitable for modern vehicles as well as classic cars and motorcycles. The detachable clamp-on inductive pick-up ensures safe and straightforward connection without disrupting existing wiring, whilst the pistol grip design with push-button controls allows for comfortable single-handed operation during diagnostic work. The unit is supplied complete with a 1.5m coiled 12V power lead for direct battery connection, inductive coupler and comprehensive operating instructions.
