The Sealey SMS255 is a 250mm double sliding compound mitre saw designed for precise cutting of timber and, with the optional blade, a range of other materials. Powered by a robust 2000W motor, this professional-grade saw delivers accurate mitre and bevel cuts for carpenters, joiners and contractors working on trim installations, flooring projects and general construction applications. The double slide mechanism offers exceptional versatility, with adjustable locking positions that provide greater control over cut lengths. With a maximum cross-cut capacity of 315mm at 0° bevel, this saw handles substantial timber sections with ease. The integrated laser guide ensures accurate cut placement, reducing material waste and improving productivity on site. Built for professional use, the SMS255 features integral aluminium workpiece supports that store neatly inside the aluminium base, preventing loss whilst maintaining a compact footprint. The saw comes fitted with a 40-tooth TCT blade optimised for fresh timber, though it accepts the optional SMS255B multipurpose blade for cutting mild steel, aluminium and timber with embedded nails. Positive mitre locks at 0°, 15°, 22.5°, 31.6° and 45° left and right enable quick, repeatable angle settings for common joinery applications. The saw includes a workpiece clamp for secure material holding, dust extraction port (ID Ø35mm/OD Ø43mm) for cleaner working, and carry handle for improved portability between job sites.
