The Sealey SM65 is a metal cutting bandsaw mounted on a workshop floor stand, designed for accurate cutting of ferrous and non-ferrous metals in professional workshop environments. This versatile bandsaw combines precision engineering with practical safety features, making it suitable for fabricators, metalworkers and general engineering workshops requiring reliable metal cutting capability. Built with an oil-bath gearbox and life lubricated drive bearings, this bandsaw delivers quiet, smooth operation for extended workshop use. The swivel arm facility enables angle cutting of long metal stock in confined workspace areas, whilst the quick action vice allows rapid workpiece clamping – simply push the jaw against the material and pull the cam-action lever to lock securely. Safety and precision are prioritised throughout the design. The fully guarded blade features a magnetic no-load voltage switch that prevents motor restart following power failure or blade jam, enhancing operator protection. Fully adjustable precision blade guides ensure accurate cutting whilst extending blade life, and the unit is supplied complete with anti-vibration feet to minimise workshop floor transmission. The three-speed blade configuration (18, 30, 48m/min) allows adjustment for different materials and cutting requirements.
