The Sealey SM1100 is a versatile wood lathe designed for spindle turning, bowl work and specialist woodturning projects. Powered by a robust 550W induction motor, this workshop-grade lathe delivers smooth, consistent performance across a variable speed range of 500-2000rpm. The integrated plate clutch system enables seamless speed adjustment during operation, eliminating the need to stop the motor and manually change belt positions on pulleys. Built around a precision-machined one-piece lathe bed, the SM1100 provides exceptional stability for accurate turning work. The 1100mm distance between centres accommodates longer spindle work, whilst the 370mm turning capacity over bed suits bowl blanks and larger diameter projects.
