Sealey SDL14 Rechargeable Plastic Welding Repair Kit
The Sealey SDL14 is a cordless plastic welding repair kit designed for professional automotive repair and plastic fabrication work. This rechargeable tool provides tradespeople with a portable solution for repairing cracked bumpers, dashboards, engine bay components and other plastic parts without the need for mains power. The lightweight welding iron features an integrated LED light to illuminate work areas in confined spaces such as engine bays and vehicle interiors. Powered by a 3.7V 2.4Ah lithium-ion battery, the unit reaches a maximum temperature of 500°C and provides 40 minutes of operating time on a full charge, with recharging completed in 3.5 hours via the included USB cable. This comprehensive kit includes multiple welding tips for different repair techniques: a standard plastic welding tip, a pipe guide tip for tubular components, and a hot staple tip for reinforcing repairs. Supplied with plastic welding rods in four common materials (ABS, PP, PE and PS), the kit enables repair of most automotive and industrial plastics. Three reinforcing mesh sheets and 100 flat staples in two sizes (0.6mm and 0.8mm) provide additional reinforcement options for structural repairs.
