The Sealey SBC4 is a fully automatic 12V battery charger and maintainer designed for charging and maintaining a variety of 12V batteries in automotive and leisure applications. This intelligent 3-stage charger is compatible with multiple battery types including VRLA (Lead Acid), GEL, AGM/EFB and leisure batteries, making it a versatile solution for workshops, garages and mobile mechanics. The 4A output is optimised for batteries in the 50-80Ah range, providing efficient charging without overloading smaller automotive batteries. The SBC4 features advanced recovery capabilities including zero-volt charging functionality, enabling it to charge completely discharged batteries when any load is removed. An old battery sulfation repair function helps restore degraded batteries, whilst the auto-shut-off maintenance mode ensures batteries remain in optimal condition during storage or seasonal layup without overcharging. Comprehensive safety protection includes reverse polarity, short circuit, over temperature, over voltage and overcharging safeguards. Easy-to-read LED indicators clearly display power status and charging stages, allowing quick visual monitoring of the charging process.
