The Sealey RS105 RoadStart is a professional emergency jump starter and power pack designed for starting both 12V and 24V vehicles in breakdown situations. This dual-voltage capability makes it an essential piece of equipment for mobile mechanics, fleet operators, and breakdown services who work with a variety of vehicle types. Built around a robust composite case with integrated battery clip storage and carry handle, this unit delivers impressive cranking power across multiple vehicle configurations. At 12V, it's suitable for starting 8-cylinder petrol engines up to 6L and 8-cylinder diesel engines up to 4.8L. When switched to 24V operation, it can handle 6-cylinder petrol engines up to 3.5L and 6-cylinder diesel engines up to 3L. The RS105 utilises two batteries that can be connected in either parallel or series configuration to match the required output voltage, delivering high peak and cranking currents when needed. LED battery condition indicators and a test button provide clear feedback on charge status, whilst a low voltage switch enables use on 24V system recharge when connecting to batteries producing less than 1V. Additional functionality is provided by the integrated 12V power socket, which accepts any 12V device with a standard vehicle accessory plug. The unit is supplied complete with a mains charger for convenient workshop recharging between callouts.
