The Sealey PPL01 Portable Pivot Car Lift is a versatile car lifting solution designed for mechanics and vehicle enthusiasts working on a wide range of vehicles. This compact lift offers flexible operation, allowing you to raise vehicles either manually or using an electric drill with 90Nm or more torque, providing convenient power-assisted lifting without requiring mains power connections at the work site. The unique pivot functionality sets this lift apart from conventional car ramps, enabling the vehicle to be tilted forwards or backwards once raised for enhanced access to the underside. The lift can be stopped and locked at any height up to 585mm, giving you precise control over working positions. With three adjustable width settings of 775mm, 1130mm and 1530mm, this lift accommodates both narrow-chassis classic cars like MGs and modern wider vehicles. The adjustable width design provides excellent access to sills and vehicle edges that traditional ramps often obscure, making it particularly useful for bodywork, sill repairs and side-panel maintenance. The 1500kg capacity handles most cars and light vans with confidence. Note that impact wrenches must not be used with this lift as they will damage the mechanism, and suitably rated axle stands should always be used before working beneath a raised vehicle.
