Sealey OFC1 Oil Filter Crushing Unit
The Sealey OFC1 is an oil filter crushing unit designed for professional workshops and garages handling used oil filter disposal. This robust unit works in conjunction with a hydraulic press to compress filters up to Ø115mm, significantly reducing their volume and removing most of the oil and sludge content, which drains via the included 1250mm hose into a suitable collection container. By crushing used filters, workshops can minimise hazardous waste disposal costs through substantial volume reduction. The unit features an internal diameter of Ø130mm and an effective working height of 175mm, accommodating most standard vehicle filters. A ram extension comes supplied as standard, enabling two-stage crushing of larger filters without the need to reposition the press table between operations. The OFC1 is designed for use with Ø38mm (1.5") press rams as standard, making it compatible with most workshop presses. For workshops with different press configurations, optional adaptors are available to accommodate Ø50mm and Ø60mm rams, providing versatility across various press setups.
