Sealey Heavy Duty Leather Welding Gauntlets XL
The Sealey Heavy Duty Leather Welding Gauntlets are extra-large protective gloves designed to provide excellent protection against heat and spatter during welding operations. Manufactured from durable split cow hide leather with Kevlar® stitching for superior strength, these traditionally designed gauntlets offer reliable hand protection for professional welders and fabricators. The gloves feature a cotton lined cuff with a soft fleece lining for enhanced comfort during extended wear. The palm area is reinforced with additional stitched leather to provide extra durability in this high-wear zone, extending the working life of the gauntlets. This thoughtful construction makes them ideal for MIG, TIG and oxy-fuel welding applications where hand protection from radiant heat and molten metal spatter is essential. Certified to BS EN 12477 Type 'A' standard, these gauntlets are rated to BS EN 388 - 3134X for mechanical risks and BS EN 407 - 41314X for thermal hazards. Please note these gauntlets are not suitable for arc welding. The gloves have a five year storage life when kept in cool, dry conditions, and must be scrapped if signs of wear, damage or deterioration occur.
