The Sealey ECS650 is a professional-grade battery starter and charger engineered to meet the demands of modern vehicle battery technology. This fully electronic, microprocessor-controlled unit is specifically designed for today's automotive workshop environment, supporting multiple battery types including EFB, AGM/GEL (stop/start), Lead Acid, Lead Calcium and Silver Calcium batteries commonly found in conventional, electric and hybrid vehicles. Built for versatility, this intelligent charger operates across both 12V and 24V electrical systems, delivering up to ten analysis and charge phases including trickle and maintenance modes. The ECS (Electronic Control Systems) technology provides stabilised charging current, ensuring improved efficiency and reduced charging times whilst protecting sensitive vehicle electronics. Integrated surge and spike protection safeguards critical systems such as ABS, airbag sensors, ignition and audio equipment during both charging and starting operations. The unit features a dedicated power supply mode (BSU) that maintains battery voltage during prolonged diagnostic procedures and software updates, preventing system drain when vehicles require extended electronic work.
