The Sealey AK315 is a universal external thread repairer designed for restoring damaged threads on bolts, studs and threaded components. This adjustable thread restorer accommodates both metric and imperial threads from Ø31.75-127mm (1-1/4"-5") external diameter, making it a versatile addition to any workshop toolkit. The tool features a straightforward operation that requires no specialist knowledge. Simply attach the thread chaser to an undamaged section of the thread, then wind back along the damaged area using the knurled adjuster.
