The Sealey 5 Piece Brake Caliper Slogging Spanner Set is a specialist tool kit designed for installing and removing brake caliper bolts on commercial vehicles. Each spanner features a 3/4"Sq drive for compatibility with torque wrenches, ensuring accurate torque application during brake system maintenance and repair. These slogging spanners are engineered with two striking faces to provide better access in tight spaces and to aid in loosening stubborn or corroded bolts. The formula for calculating the correct effective length is laser etched directly onto each wrench, helping mechanics maintain torque accuracy when using the striking faces. The set covers key commercial vehicle applications with both TRX-Star and Bi-Hex configurations. TRX-Star sizes include E18, E20 and E24, specifically suited to MAN commercial vehicles including TGL, TGM, TGA, TGS and TGX models. The Bi-Hex (12-point) spanners in 24mm and 26mm are designed for SAF and DAF vehicles respectively, covering the XF, XF95, XF105 and XF106 ranges.
