The Draper Scutch Holding Chisel is a professional masonry tool designed for brick and stone work, featuring an octagonal shank with a recessed end that accepts both toothed and plain edge scutches. Manufactured generally in accordance with BS3066:1995, this 25 x 200mm chisel combines robust construction with the versatility to tackle various masonry applications. The octagonal shank design provides excellent grip and prevents the chisel from rotating during use when struck with a club hammer or lump hammer. The recessed end accepts interchangeable scutch blades, allowing you to switch between different cutting edges depending on the task at hand.
