The Draper GWD205A is a versatile wet and dry bench grinder designed for sharpening and grinding hand and garden tools in workshop environments. This dual-wheel system combines a horizontal whetstone honing wheel with a dry white grinding wheel, making it ideal for maintaining chisels, plane blades, garden shears and other high-speed steel cutting tools. The unit features a white aluminium oxide grinding wheel that runs at high speed, particularly suitable for working with HSS tooling without causing overheating or loss of temper. The slower-speed whetstone wheel provides precise honing and finishing for a razor-sharp edge. Comprehensive safety features include protective eye shields, spark deflectors, wheel guards and adjustable tool rests to support accurate grinding angles. Supplied complete with a cable and approved 13A plug, this 350W bench grinder is ready for immediate workshop installation. The substantial 11kg weight provides stability during operation, whilst the combination of wet and dry grinding capabilities eliminates the need for separate sharpening equipment.
