The Draper Expert HD1600E2 is a heavy-duty SDS Max rotary hammer drill designed for demanding demolition and drilling tasks in concrete and masonry. With a powerful 1,600W motor and 10J impact energy, this professional-grade tool delivers 3,800 impacts per minute, making it ideal for builders, contractors and tradespeople tackling intensive breaking and drilling applications on site. Built with an all-metal gearbox for enhanced durability, the HD1600E2 features two interchangeable functions: hammer drill mode for creating holes up to 40mm in concrete and 60mm in wood, plus a chisel lock position for continuous chiselling work. The SDS Max chuck system ensures quick, secure accessory changes, whilst the integrated safety clutch protects both operator and tool during demanding operations. Operator comfort is prioritised through the anti-vibration soft grip handle and included auxiliary handle, which together provide superior control during extended use. The tool comes complete with a 320mm pointed chisel and 18mm drill bit, both with SDS Max shanks, allowing you to start work immediately. A 2.2m VDE-approved power cord with BS plug provides safe, reliable mains connection, and everything stores neatly in the supplied blow moulded case with metal clasps for secure transportation between jobs.
