The Draper Direct and Indirect Petrol Engine Compression Tester is a diagnostic tool designed for testing cylinder compression in petrol engines. This versatile compression tester is compatible with both direct and indirect injection petrol engines, accommodating the two most common spark plug thread sizes of 14mm and 18mm. The tool features a dual-scale pressure gauge offering readings in both imperial and metric units (0-300psi/0-20bar), making it suitable for use across different vehicle specifications. The 63mm diameter gauge is protected by a heavy-duty rubber guard to withstand workshop environments, whilst the 280mm flexible hose provides sufficient reach for accessing spark plug ports in various engine configurations. Built with an integrated Schrader one-way valve system, this compression tester ensures accurate pressure readings by preventing air loss during testing. The spring-loaded pressure relief valve allows quick reset between cylinder tests.
