The Draper CHD12VD is a compact 12V cordless combi drill designed for drilling and driving applications across wood, metal and masonry. Part of Draper's versatile 12V interchangeable battery system, this drill combines portability with practical performance for professional tradespeople and serious DIY users. This combi drill features a 2-speed gearbox with 21 electronic torque settings, delivering a maximum torque of 30Nm for controlled power across different materials and fastening tasks. The 10mm keyless chuck accepts standard drill bits, whilst the spindle lock enables quick bit changes on site. Variable speed control and an electronic brake provide precision, complemented by forward and reverse functions for extraction and removal work. The drill capacity extends to 25mm in wood, 10mm in mild steel, and 10mm in masonry, making it suitable for general carpentry, installation work, and light construction tasks. An integrated LED worklight illuminates the work area in poorly lit spaces, whilst the battery level indicator helps you monitor remaining charge during the working day. The drill arrives complete in a blow moulded storage case with a 12V 1.5Ah Li-ion battery and fast charger. The battery is fully compatible with other tools in the Draper 12V series and the Storm Force® 10.8V range, allowing you to build a coordinated toolkit. A practical belt clip is included for convenient access.
