The DeWalt Respiration Powered Air Purifying Welding Respirator is an integrated PAPR system designed to protect welders across multiple trades and applications. This comprehensive safety solution combines respiratory, eye, face and hearing protection in a single unit, eliminating the need for multiple pieces of PPE or face fit testing requirements. Built around advanced P3 filtration technology, this powered air purifying respirator delivers 99.98% filter efficiency at 0.3 microns, providing superior protection against welding fumes and airborne hazards commonly encountered in fabrication environments. The integrated auto-darkening filter (ADF) lens and bump cap offer complete facial and head protection whilst maintaining clear visibility during work. The system is powered by a DeWalt 18V 2.0Ah Li-Ion XR battery, making it compatible with existing DeWalt cordless tool platforms. Suitable for MIG, MAG, TIG, MMA, SMAW, carbon arc and plasma arc welding applications, this respirator accommodates head sizes from 53-63cm and includes 30SNR hearing defenders for comprehensive protection on site. Supplied complete in a ToughSystem toolbox for secure transportation and storage, the kit includes everything needed for immediate deployment: P3 HEPA filter, hearing defenders, battery connector with belt clip and power cord, battery, charger, cleaning plugs, user instructions and daily visual quick guide. The unit meets multiple UK and European safety standards including EN 812:2012 for respiratory protection, EN 397:2012 for head protection, EN 379:2003 for eye and face protection, and EN 352-1:2020 for hearing protection, with both CE and UKCA certification.
