The DeWalt DCS335 is an 18v XR cordless brushless body grip jigsaw designed for professional cutting applications in wood and metal. This body grip design, also known as barrel grip, enables the tool to be used from underneath a workpiece and is particularly favoured by tradespeople for negotiating tight curves and intricate cutting patterns. Powered by a brushless motor, the DCS335 delivers enhanced runtime and performance compared to brushed equivalents, with a no load speed of 3200rpm and a 26mm stroke length. The tool offers a cutting capacity of 135mm in wood and 25mm in aluminium, making it suitable for a wide range of carpentry, joinery and general contracting tasks. A four position pendulum action allows users to control the aggressiveness of the cut depending on material and application. The jigsaw features an improved tool-free blade change mechanism that holds blades more securely and keeps them squarer during use for ultimate precision. The adjustable shoe includes an anti-scratch cover and bevels to 47° in both directions for angled cutting work. Dual LED worklights and an integrated dust blower help maintain visibility of the cutting line, whilst the body grip design incorporates a trigger with separate lock-off switch and easy access speed control wheel.
