DeWalt DCBP318 18v XR Powerstack Battery 3.5ah 3.5ah
DeWalt Powerstack batteries use pouch cell technology which offers a number of benefits compared to the existing cylindrical cell XR batteries. Not only are these new batteries more compact, but they are capable of delivering more power to the tool during use, providing a performance boost while simultaneously allowing access in tighter spaces than with the equivalent previous generation battery pack. You might assume that being able to supply more power on demand would shorten the lifespan of the battery pack, but in fact Powerstack batteries come with a longer warranty too, being fully guaranteed for three years as long as they are registered after purchase. The new DCBP318 Powerstack battery is fully compatible with all existing DeWalt 18v XR cordless power tools, and can be charged on all existing chargers in the same system. It features an integrated push button fuel gauge and rubber overmoulding for impact resistance.
