The DeWalt DWS5100 is a 300mm dual port ripping fence designed specifically for use with the DCS577 Flexvolt high torque circular saw. This versatile accessory transforms the circular saw into a precision ripping tool, ideal for cutting sheet materials and boards to consistent widths. The dual port design offers flexibility for both left and right-handed operation, making it suitable for a wide range of cutting applications on site or in the workshop. Constructed from lightweight yet durable aluminium, the ripping fence combines portability with the rigidity needed for accurate straight cuts. The permanently laser etched markings ensure fast and reliable width settings without the risk of fading or wear over time. When not in use, the fence folds down to a compact 485mm x 76mm, making it easy to store in tool bags or vehicle storage systems alongside other accessories. This ripping fence is particularly useful for cutting stair treads and risers, where consistent dimensions are critical, as well as for ripping sheet materials down to manageable sizes. The 300mm capacity on the left side handles the majority of common rip cuts, whilst the extended 360mm capacity on the right side accommodates wider materials when required.
