This 8" (200mm) Bahco ERGO™ Handled Flat File with Second (Medium) cut is designed for applications requiring a finer finish than the coarse bastard cut. The 200mm length provides excellent control and reach for most filing tasks, whilst the medium second cut delivers a smoother surface finish on high-alloy tool steels and precision filing work. The medium cut grade makes this file ideal for secondary filing operations where material has already been roughly shaped, or for applications requiring a better surface finish from the outset. Perfect for deburring flat surfaces with reduced roughness, filing sharp corners and shoulders to a smoother standard, and preparing surfaces for final finishing. The parallel edges and surfaces ensure precise results. Equipped with the scientifically developed ERGO™ two-component handle, this file provides maximum comfort and grip during extended use. The double cut surfaces deliver consistent material removal, with one uncut edge and one single cut edge for versatile filing applications on concave surfaces, flat areas, and large holes.
