This 8" (200mm) Bahco ERGO™ Handled Flat File with Bastard (Coarse) cut offers an excellent balance between reach and manoeuvrability for general workshop applications. The 200mm length is ideal for most filing tasks, providing sufficient leverage whilst remaining easy to control, and the coarse bastard cut ensures efficient material removal on high-alloy tool steels and heavy implements. This mid-sized file is particularly well-suited for deburring flat surfaces, filing sharp corners and shoulders, and working with medium-sized workpieces. The parallel edges and surfaces guarantee consistent results, with double cut surfaces for high removal rates. One edge is kept uncut for filing into corners, whilst the other features a single cut for finer work.
